An Airline Dating Service

As many people know, because it is no secret, I am single. Single as hell. With no prospects on the horizon and my travels scaring off many that were, I am left alone. You always see in movies how people meet in airports and on planes well that has yet to happen to me. Somehow I always end up sitting next to couples. Ugh. Imagine my dismay. So I was thinking since airlines make you pay for luggage and pay to pick your seat in advance, how about they let us pick who we want to sit next to. It could be like a mini dating service in the air. Especially on long flights, like this four hour + journey that I’m currently trapped on, sitting next to a couple whom I’ve yet to say a word to and we are two hours in.

Wouldn’t it be cool if you could pick you row mates!? Male/Female. Tall/Average/Short. Cute/Average/MyMommaThinksI’mCute. Single/Taken. LookingForEntranceIntoTheMileHighClub/LookingToSettle/IJustGetBoredOnPlanesAndWantSomeoneToTalkTo. Get my drift? Also wouldn’t it be nice if airports created singles’ lounges. You walk in and already know that everyone is available. It makes the game so much easier. Maybe it just because I’m always on the prowl but I think this is a great idea, so if any airline reps read this, I expect full credit and I want to be a part of the creative process.
