It’s Rainy Season :-(

So the awesome thing about Benin is that when it is the dry season, it will never rain, unlike Detroit and NYC where you never know if it will be a rainy week or a dry week. The not so awesome thing is the rain comes back with a vengeance each season. There is lots of wind, dark gray ominous clouds and sheets of rain. The other not so cool thing is that rainy season means more malaria as the mosquitoes breed in sitting water. But so far it only rains at night which I am grateful for because I don’t think I would be doing a lot of moving otherwise.
